Unique Heating & Cooling Systems, Inc. only offers the highest quality systems to keep your home or office at a consistent temperature so you and your family will be comfortable at all times. In addition, higher quality systems have less noise pollution. When keeping your home or office at a consistent, comfortable temperature you will be using less energy because the same temperature is constantly maintained. High quality systems are designed to keep your homes within 1° of set point. Standard Zoning: Have you ever wasted your time opening and closing vents in your home? Do you want to save up to 30% in energy cost by heating or cooling areas of your home that are used during different times of the day? Would you prefer one furnace instead of two to divide your house into sections? Zoning is the answer! Zoning controls individual sections of your home with the use of dampers installed in your air vents that are designed to open and close depending on the temperatures you want in the different areas of your home. Thermostats are programmed to control these dampers to meet your needs. Variable Speed: Standard systems are only capable of delivering air at one speed. This means that they are either on full blast or off. That leads to drastic temperature swings, drafty rooms and poor humidity control. Variable speed systems add just the right amount of warm or cool air to keep your house at an even temperature all day and night. Since variable speed motors operate on DC voltage, they are much more efficient allowing for constant operation and air filtration for the cost of a 70–watt light bulb. Finally, since variable speed motors start at low speeds and slowly ramp up , as well as running at the slowest speed possible, you virtually never notice that the system is running. It's like getting two systems in one. Think of it this way: first stage is to maintain a constant temperature; second stage is designed to get the job done, either because a large adjustment was just made at the thermostat or the system is experiencing a very large load. Humidifiers: As we all know, humidity levels in Utah during the winter are virtually Indoor air quality has become an ever more present health concern. Most homes create an average of 40 pounds of dust per 1500 square feet annually. Many different levels of air filtration are available from 1" MERV6 to 5" MERV10 to the new catch and kill air sterilizers capable of killing weapons grade anthrax (not to mention standard allergens).
